How to Disable/Enable Windows 7 Aero Peek

Windows 7 has a great feature to enable user to peek the desktop for certain time that known as Aero Peek preview. Just move your mouse cursor to show desktop bar at left button windows and it will show x-ray desktop for as long as you put your cursor on the bar. I think not all people like this feature, so in this post I will show you how to disable it.

It is simple to disable it, just right click on start menu and click properties and it will open Taskbar and Start menu properties windows and then click Taskbar tab and look at Preview desktop with Aero Peek area and how to disable it is easy, just uncheck Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop and click Apply and Ok to close properties windows.disable Aero Peek If anytime you want to enable it again just check it to use Aero Peek preview again.

I am one of the people who don’t like to use Aero Peek because I prefer to use Start + d shortcut that has identically same function. First time press start + d from keyboard will show desktop and if want to revert back to previous active window just press start + d from keyboard again. Enjoy it!
